I grew up in the Eastlake community of Chula Vista and studied Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. After a few years as a software engineer, I realized I wanted to be out on the field meeting clients and helping people in person.

Sometimes. If the fix is straightforward and you’d like to move forward, we can often take care of it. If the repair is more involved, I’ll explain the options and next steps first.

What if the problem ends up being something simple?

Even simple issues require proper testing to confirm they’re safe and fully resolved. The troubleshooting fee covers the time and expertise needed to diagnose the issue correctly — regardless of the outcome.

Do you work on older homes?

Yes. Many electrical issues I diagnose are in older homes, where wiring, panels, or past modifications can complicate things.

Do you offer estimates over the phone?

For troubleshooting, an on-site visit is usually required to diagnose the issue accurately. Once the cause is identified, I’ll provide clear options and pricing for any recommended repairs.
